Mid Point Self Reflection and Mark
I'm going to start out by explaining the success of my preparation for class. Every class, up until this point, I have showed up with appropriate clothing for PE. I have forgotten runners twice, but I still participated in bare feet (Flag football and the beep test were done in bare feet.) I haven't been late for class once and I have no absences that my parents are unaware of. On a scale of one to five, my daily exertion level would typically be a 4. On certain fitness days I'll push harder, such as on the circuits and pond runs and on sick days, I'll give myself a more relaxed day, putting my exertion level at a 3. My attitude towards PE is more than often great. I have never sat around all class and constantly complained about the activity. Weather it's something I want to do or not, I will contribute with a positive attitude and I'll give it my all. Leadership is difficult this year, considering 90% of our class consists of boys, however, I do help set up and clean up. As for role models, I can honestly say that no one in our class is a role model to me. My main goal for fitness this year was to lose weight. It's difficult to maintain that goal, but my fitness level has definitely been improving. I'm able to run twice the amount of laps on the 30 minutes run and my beep test score is going up. Something that I've learned about my body and fitness this year is that your body needs different kinds of fitness to stay fit. Going for quick 30 minute jogs everyday isn't going to get you anywhere. From long slow jogs, to quick intense circuits, it takes different activities at different levels to keep yourself in shape. I believe that an accurate percentage for my overall effort in PE11 would be a 90%.

I pretty much agree with what you wrote for your evalution so far. Because it relates to what you are doing so far.
ReplyDeleteRobbi... you have a very mature attitude towards your own fitness and the class in general. it is a tough spot for you girls to be in but you are handling yourself well. Right now the biggest issue is your ability to participate fully in games. I notice you are much more comfortable when we mix classes and or you have a smaller group. Keep working with tother girls to find ways of being brave and maximizing your positive opportunities. Even though we have loads of boys, the majority of them are very nice, they just need reminding you are there sometimes. :)
ReplyDeletei agree with you robbi~.~cat~!
